Disappointed.
That is what Emma (click) and I were……(at first 😉 )
Some time ago
we booked our tickets and hotel for our first visit to the quilt show in
Nantes, which would take place April 19 – 22, 2017. We wanted to visit the show
on Wednesday April 19 and Thursday 20, so we had arranged to arrive on the
Tuesday and leave on the Friday.
And then the times of the show were changed…. Instead op opening
Wednesdaymorning the show would now have only an evening opening that day (and
an extra day on the Sunday), a lot less time on the show than we had planned
for.
When they
learned about schedule the ladies from Quiltmania were kind enough to send us
inviations to the show for both days, which was kind of them.
and Emma and
myself decided to make the best of it by exploring the old center of Nantes and
catching up since we had seen eachother last time (which was not all that long
ago, see my previous post).
Our disappointment was quickly replaced by cheer because it turned out to be a
perfect day, with lots of sunshine, a lovely town, very friendly people and
yummy food. Please join us!
