One of my
favorite exhibitions at the Pour l’Amour du Fil show was the ‘Unforgettable’
exhibition with examples of antique Welsh quilts collected by Jen Jones.
I was struck
by the geometry and modernism of some of the quilts. Also I had never seen one
of these quilts before and was surprised by how thick the material was and
therefore how far apart from each other the quilt stitches are. A true eye opener!
